Hand value (the combination of different cards into one poker hand) starts with one pair and ends at the royal flush. The game starts with an ante bet. After you have placed this bet, you receive five cards and even so does the dealer. You make a poker hand (like two pair) and decide whether you want to double your ante bet or surrender (fold). Before you decide, you only see one card of the dealer. Dealer must qualify (Ace and King at least) to be able to battle.
